Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club (Orlando)

It's a rare occasion when you get the opportunity to play on one of the most popular courses on the PGA Tour! Your opportunity to play where Arnie lives and plays awaits at the Bay Hill Club and Lodge. This private course is open to only members, their guests and guests in the cozy 58 room Lodge. When you stay at Bay Hill, you are a member of the Club , sharing all it's membership privileges...golf, dining, recreation and meeting facilities. Other amenities include clay and hard court tennis and a lavish pool.

You have watched the Bay Hill Invitational for years - now it's your turn to play the 27-hole mastefpiece that sweeps along the shores of the Butler Chain of Lakes. The Challenger nine and the Champion nine make up the course that you see on television but the newer Charger nine is their challenging equal! And, if you would like to take your game to the next level, the Arnold Palmer Golf Academy offers one-on-one instruction just 300 feet from your room.

You have watched the Bay Hill Invitational on television - now its your turn to walk in the footsteps of the world's greatest golfers.

ChampionsGate Golf Resort (Orlando)

Towering over the skyline just south of Orlando and Walt Disney World is the luxurious, new Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate which opened in October 2004. Surrounded by acres of natural Florida wetlands, the resort features two incredible golf courses designed by Greg Norman. Although the resort hotel is “brand new”, the courses have been in operation for 5 years, thus are fully “matured” for your golfing pleasure. The resort, the new world headquarters of the David Leadbetter Golf Academy, boasts a European-style Spa, a fully equipped health club and a variety of enticing restaurants.

The National Course (from tips—7,128 yards, 75.1 rating / 133 slope) is a classic American-style layout that rolls through 200 acres of natural wetlands and southern woodlands. You’ll find the creative design demanding and exhilarating.

The International Course (from tips—7,363 yards, 76.3 rating / 143 slope), which is one of the highest rated courses in all of Florida, has the look and feel of a links-style layout in the British Isles (without the nasty weather!).

After a day of “ChampionsGate Golf” and, perhaps a massage at the Spa, your nightlife is as relaxing or as exciting as you want it to be. Enjoy a cocktail and dinner at one of the resort restaurants or head 5 minutes up Interstate 15 to Downtown Disney for a lively evening at Planet Hollywood or one of the many other restaurants and nightclubs.

This is our personal favorite for Orlando Resort Golf.

Hyatt Grand Cypress Resort (Orlando)

This magnificent 1,500 acre 5-Star resort located in a nature preserve including a stunning 21 acre lake is home to 45 holes of Jack Nicklaus designed golf. The Grand Cypress Resort will luxuriate you with 750 spacious guestrooms and 72 suites, a fitness center, a 5-mile jogging path , a half acre free form pool, a racquet club and a world class Equestrian Center and five award-winning restaurants. Satisfy your taste for italian cuisine at Cascade or fresh seafood at the Key West-style Hemmingway's which is perched atop a rock grotto. La Coquina serves fine nouvelle cuisine and the White Horse Saloon satisfies your casual mood.

The greatest player of all time could also become the greatest course architect of all time with creations like this...

The New Course, rated 41/2 Stars by Golf Digest, is an 18 hole links style layout modeled after The Old Course at St. Andrews. With deep Scottish-style bunkers and a replica of the stone bridge over St. Andrews Swilcan Burn, this is as close to the real thing as it gets.

The Original Course, also rated 41/2 Stars by Golf Digest, features 27 holes of lush and beautiful golf typical of a Florida Tropical Gardens setting. The North, South and East nines offer a variety of challenges including thick foliage and sneeky water hazards.

Treat yourself to a golf vacation that you'll never forget!

Saddlebrook Golf Resort & Spa (Tampa)

Lavishly planned on 480 acres of lush woodlands just 25 minutes north of Tampa, is one of North America's most beautiful and prestigious resorts... Saddlebrook! This award-winning resort offers beautiful hotel rooms and one or two bedroom condos. The 36 holes of golf designated by Arnold Palmer and Dean Refram have been rated among the best golf in the state - comfortably challenging, picturesque and skillfully landscaped. Water is plentiful on both of these magnificent courses...

Palmer Course The 6,469 yard par-71 course (71.9/134) features open, undulating fairways and greens - and lots of lakes, streams and ponds. Typically, Arnold gives you wide landing areas off the tees, but makes life interesting inside the 150 stakes.

Saddlebrook Course This par 70, 6,564 yard track (72.0/127) course is flatter and tighter than the Plalmer Course tree lined and challenges you with water on 14 holes.

Saddlebrook is also the home of the world renowned Arnold Palmer Golf Academy, providing intimate personalized attention in a combination of classroom instruction and practice sessions with actual course play.
