Ocean lies the the legendary Torrey Pines Golf Complex.
Designed by William Bell, Sr. in 1957. Both Torrey Pines North & South
courses are home to the Buick Invitational PGA Golf Tournament each year.
Both 18-hole courses are very scenic with beautiful ocean views.
The North Course (4 Star), with a slope of 129, is a bit tamer. The 6th hole of the North Course is Torrey Pines' signature hole.
The South Course (41/2 Star), the site of the 2008 U.S. Open, is the more challenging of the two with a slope of 135 and each year hosts the final round of the Buick Invitational.
